E-scooter side stands make it easier to park stably on firm, level ground. At Fadu Bike, you will find model-specific replacement stands as well as foldable versions in various lengths. It is not just the length that is decisive: before ordering, also check the exact scooter model, the year of manufacture, the mount, and the mounting dimensions.
A side stand must match the geometry and mounting point of the e-scooter. If it is too short, the scooter will lean too far. If it is too long, the vehicle can easily tip over in the other direction. Even two stands with the same total length are not automatically interchangeable if the hole spacing, screw diameter, stop, or folding angle differ.
The safest selection is an e-scooter side stand explicitly designated for your model and, if applicable, its year of manufacture. Note the complete model name. Variants of a model series can have different mounts despite similar names. If the model or year of manufacture do not clearly match, do not compare the spare part solely based on the product image.
Compare the existing stand with the information on the product page. Relevant factors include, in particular, the length, the distance and arrangement of the mounting holes, the screw diameter, and the shape of the mount. Also check whether the folded-up stand maintains sufficient clearance from the footboard, wheel, brake, and cables. The term "foldable" only describes the mechanism and is not proof of universal compatibility.
A replacement is advisable if the stand is bent, no longer clicks into place reliably, has an unusual amount of play, or the base is heavily worn. Before doing so, also check the mount, spring, and mounting screws. If the fault lies with the frame or the mounting point, a new stand may not be sufficient.
Install the spare part according to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications and use the designated screws and torque values. After installation, the stand must fold in and out freely without touching other components. You can find further components under e-scooter spare parts.
As a rule, no. Even with the same length, the mount, hole spacing, screws, and folding angle can differ. A compatibility statement for your model is therefore more important than visual similarity.
Use the dimensions of the existing original part and the measurement method on the respective product page as a guide. Since manufacturers do not always use the same reference points, a millimeter measurement should never be assessed without checking the mounting.
Check the model name, year of manufacture, stand length, mount, hole spacing, screw diameter, and the shape of the stop. In case of uncertainty, photos of the installed stand and the mount can make identification easier.
If the mount is easily accessible and undamaged, replacement is often possible with the right tools. If the threads, bracket, or frame are damaged, or if the installed stand touches the wheel, brake, or cables, the mounting should be checked professionally.
